For all the new players in Elsword, there are some simple things to remember when playing this game. Here's some of them:
Avoid knocking down the enemies. In dungeons, it will lower the damage input by massive number (Something like 70% damage reduction in Velder dungeons), and in PvP, it will discontinue your combo. Completely eliminating the knock downs are impossible though; there's something called KD (Knock Down) points, which stacks up on the enemy when you hit them. The amount of KD points stacked will differ in the type of attack, so keep your atacks low of KD points. Some attacks, however, just automatically knocks down the enemy (the last Z in ZZZZ in all classes, for example). NEVER use those type of attack or people will start to hate you (except your opponents).
Now that we know that knock down is bad, I will list some simple combos that classes can use to reduce the amount of the knock downs. (The combos listed may not work for PvP) (Arrows shown here is for when the enemy is located at the right side of you. Flip the arrow when you're facing the left.)
ELSWORD (Never made one, so don't shoot me if the info is wrong)
Lord Knight
ZZZ>Z (Simple and easy loop that won't knock down, use this if you can't do the other ones)
ZZZ>>^XX (This require timing, dash right after the third Z is done, and jump with XX. Don't do the last X, making enemy fly is bad too, since if you fail to catch them, that's a knock down)
Rune Slayer (Now this, I have NO clue :/. Someone fix this)
ZZZ>>^XZ (Same as the Lord Knight one before)
RENA
Grand Archer
(Hold directional button V, or >)XX (This is great for shooting arrows. Though the third arrow doesn't knock down, Rena will shoot at an steep downward angle, so enemy far away will not get hit. Keep it at 2X)
ZZZX (Grand Archer is somewhat free to do whatever she wants to [at least that's the way I play her], but this combo will help gather the MP for the arrows or be all dodgy around the enemy.
(Hold directional button >)Z(Siege mode) (The kick in siege mode help flinch your enemy into the infinite Zing. This will be pretty much be the only melee combo Grand Archer will use)
Wind Sneaker
(Hold directional button V, or >)XX (Same as Grand Archer)
ZZ>ZZ (The combo that makes Wind Sneaker OP.. You can hold the > and press ZZZZ)
AISHA
Elemental Master
(Hold directional button >)ZZ (Simple infinite loop for any Aisha)
Void Princess
ZZ>Z (Better version of >ZZ for Void Princess)
RAVEN (I no has raven.)
(Since I don't know any class specific combo that might be there..)
Both class
ZZZ>>^Z (Same concept as Elsword with his ZZZ>>^XX and stuff)
ZZZ<<>ZZZ (Dash backward and turn around really fast, and you can repeat ZZZ forever)
EVE (Finally, we're in our favorite section... Don't deny, this is YOUR favorite section as well)
Code Nemesis
ZZZVZ (You can hold directional button V for simple loop. I recommend the one below though, but if you can't, do this)
ZZZ>>^Z (Same as Elsword, except if you cancel the third Z, it will come out faster. So start dashing right when the third Z is starting to come out. May take practice)
ZZZ<<>ZZZ (Same as Raven)
Code Empress (Don't know any class specific loop that she might be able to do)
ZZZ>>^Z (Same as Code Nemesis)
ZZZ<<>ZZZ (Same as Code Nemesis)
If you can stably use each of these combo, then you're good to go! At least in the dungeons...
Okay, I suck BAD at PvP. I can't follow these tips I will write myself most of the time (because I suck), but here's some simple tips in PvP (more like team PvP) anyway.
Avoid attacking the enemy your team mate is attacking
Since we covered the knocking down earlier, you should know that each attack you do stack KD points to your enemy. If your friend is doing combo on the enemy, and you come in and stack unnecessary KD points, the enemy might get knocked down in the middle of the combo, making your friend miss the finisher skill or something.
Be aware of your surroundings when you use awakening/Special Active
Both awakening and Special Active skill create a tiny pause to everyone around you. The pause affect people differently. Some people leave the pause quicker then others. So by pausing, you might help the opponent catch your ally or leave his/her combo. Be sure that your friend isn't in the range of the enemy or doing a combo before you pause everything.
That's all the tips I can give to you new people. I hope whoever that read this learned something new and managed to improve their gameplay. I might go back and edit some things if I come up with anything.
